PANAMA CITY BEACH — A “jam-packed calendar of award-winning events” is around the corner for Panama City Beach. 

With the New Year less than a month away, Visit Panama City Beach has released its event line-up for 2022 that boasts more than 20 attractions for residents and tourists to enjoy.

“We’re thrilled with the event line-up for 2022,” Lacee Rudd, spokesperson for Visit PCB, wrote in an email. “Our events make Panama City Beach a year-round destination and we look forward to welcoming locals and visitors back to the destination.

“Due to COVID-19, many partners had to make the tough decision to postpone or cancel (over the past two years),” Rudd added. “Looking forward to 2022, many of those events are returning bigger and better than ever.”

According to information provided by the group, events slated for next year in Panama City Beach include:

1. Food Trucks of America Food Truck Festival from Feb. 5-6.

Food Trucks of America will host its 4th annual Panama City Beach Food Truck Festival at Aaron Bessant Park. A total of 30 food trucks will be serving everything from barbeque and pizza to prime rib, Korean food and mac and cheese.. 2. PCB Mardi Gras and Music Festival from Feb. 11-12.

3. Panama City Beach Scottish Festival on March 5.

The 29th annual Panama City Beach Scottish Festival will be held at Frank Brown Park. It will feature Scottish athletic competitions, Scottish & Irish musical performances, a British car club show, children’s activities and Scottish and Irish food and drink. 4. Emerald Coast Cruzin’ from March 9-12 and Nov. 9-12.

The bi-annual car show is held at Aaron Bessant Park and features thousands of hot rods and classic cars. Events include a swap meet, parade, cruiz-ins and a block party. For more information, visit www.emeraldcoastcruizin.com.

5. UNwineD from March 18-19.

This event will return to Aaron Bessant Park for the sixth year and feature craft beer, spirits and wine from around the world, culinary creations by the region’s leading chefs and a southern garden party presented by Southern Living. The event begins with the  Friday Night Kickoff Party and continues into Saturday with the Grand Afternoon Tasting and a live concert and picnic in the park. 6. Cajun Festival from April 18-24.

7. ParrotHead Rendesvous: 2022 Stories We Could Tell – Take Two from April 21-24.

At this event, guests can bring their own cooler, rent a tent site and listen to Trop Rock music. There will be performances from single musicians and duos throughout that day, along with nighttime jam sessions on both Friday and Saturday. 8. Seabreeze Jazz Festival from April 20-24.

The 23rd annual Seabreeze Jazz Festival will be held in Aaron Bessant Park and feature internationally known acts, as well as local performers. For more information, visit www.seabreezejazzfestival.com.

9. Thunder Beach Spring Motorcycle Rally, April 27-May 1 from Oct. 19-23.

The free four-day Thunder Beach Spring and Fall Motorcycle rallies will feature 200 vendors and exhibitors, a bike parade, beauty pageants, poker runs, live music, motorcycle stunt shows, tattoo contests and bike shows.
