BARBARA STOKESBARY
Barbara Stokesbary has called Panama City Beach home since 1986, after coming to the beach with her family on vacations as a teenager and falling in love with this part of the Gulf Coast.
In 1987, Barbara became a Licensed Real Estate Agent while working in the hospitality, sales, and development industry along with administrative and developmental support in the association and rental management areas of the business for a local developer.
Barbara has been the Executive Assistant for the developers of Edgewater Beach Holdings and Resort Collection since the 80’s and during the design and construction of Edgewater Golf and Beach Resort, the Glades and Hombre Golf Club, High Pointe Resort, Long Beach Resort, En Soleil Resort, Marina Landing, and the Shoppes at Edgewater. Her extensive background and knowledge in the developmental stages of many of our local resorts offers her a unique insight into opportunities for the investor interested in our area.
Barbara is a Realtor, a real estate professional who has taken the extra step to belong to the National Association of Realtors. Through membership, she abides by a Code of Ethics and has gained expertise to help you navigate one of the most complicated and important transactions you’ll make in your lifetime.
In her spare time, she enjoys her church activities and volunteering with service organizations that support children and families in our local community. Her husband Dustin is a local commercial lender and an avid triathlon and Ironman competitor, but any quiet time they have is spent with family, friends and their favorite Labrador Retriever – Brody.
Barbara hopes to share one of her other joys. Not only do we live in an area that has the most beautiful emerald green water and sugar white sandy beaches known as the “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches,” but another known local fact is that we have so much more to offer with state parks, nature trails for biking or hiking, sporting activities of all kinds, plus music, wine and art festivals.
