Darlene has been a licensed REALTOR® and member of the Bay County Association of REALTORS® since May of 2010. Prior to starting her career in Real Estate and moving to Bay County in 2006, she lived in several locations around the country. Her primary roll during those years was to support her family by actively volunteering at her three children’s schools, numerous civic organizations and church activities. It was a very rewarding and gratifying time of her life.

Like so many others, once the children had spread their wings, it was time to focus in a whole new direction. That direction was a career in Real Estate. Early on in her career, Darlene made a commitment to become more knowledgeable and professional through extensive specialized training and education. Her first accomplishment was obtaining The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Designation. The designation stands for a real estate professional that has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation.

Darlene went on to obtain the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation. Out of more than 1 million REALTORS®, less than 3% are Certified Residential Specialists. The CRS designation is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers.
She also holds the National Association of REALTORS e-PRO® certification. Agents with NAR’s e-PRO certification demonstrate advanced training in using the latest technology and social media to promote your property or find your next home.

We live and work in a niche market where facilitating the buying and selling of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination is an important part of our business. Darlene recognized the importance of specialized training by obtaining the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) Certification. Her in-depth knowledge also includes serving as Vice President on the Board of Directors for a local resort condominium from 2010 to 2012.
Darlene currently serves as the 2015/2016 REALTOR® Political Action Committee Chair and as a 2015/2016 Director for the Bay County Association of REALTORS®.
